Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using FireCalc Pro, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using FireCalc Pro on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these terms.

2. Free Trial

All new accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial period, access is restricted until a paid plan is selected. Trial data (projects, calculations) is preserved for 30 days after trial expiry.

3. Subscription & Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed in Australian Dollars (AUD) monthly or annually.
  • Annual subscriptions are charged upfront and are non-refundable except as required by Australian Consumer Law.
  • Monthly subscriptions renew automatically on the same date each month.
  • Plan changes take effect immediately. Upgrades are prorated — you pay only the difference for the remaining billing period. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
  • Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store card details.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time on monthly plans, except as required by law.

5. Acceptable Use

FireCalc Pro is licensed for legitimate fire engineering and hydraulic calculation work. You must not:

  • Share your account credentials with others outside your licensed seat count.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate the platform.
  • Use the platform for purposes other than fire protection engineering calculations.
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to disrupt the service.

6. Intellectual Property

FireCalc Pro and all associated software, algorithms, and content are owned by FireCalcPro Pty Ltd. Your project data remains your property. We do not claim ownership of calculations or reports you produce using the platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

FireCalc Pro is a tool to assist engineering calculations. All outputs must be independently verified by a qualified fire protection engineer. FireCalcPro Pty Ltd accepts no liability for errors in calculations or reliance on platform outputs without professional review.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of NSW courts.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance.
